DR. T COLIN CAMPBELL: BIOCHEMIST, NUTRITIONAL BIOCHEMISTRY
The above information is taken from Dr. Campbell’s website, in the caption. In addition, Dr. Campbell has been featured in the eye-opening documentary Forks Over Knives, where he talks about the benefits of a plant based, whole food (vegan) diet for health. Click on the link below in the logo to be directed to his website to learn more about his nutrition center, courses and read some interesting articles about science, politics and nutrition! As well, I highly recommend reading Whole: Rethinking the Science of Nutrition. It is definitely a science-y read, but he does a good job of providing useful analogies for the non-scientists (like me!). It will definitely open your eyes as he delves into the politics behind research funding, corporate money and govt. tax dollars, and why traditional scientists and medical professionals approach health from such a limited viewpoint.
DR. CALDWELL ESSELSTYN: SURGEON, FORMER OLYMPIC ROWING CHAMPION 1956
Dr. Esselstyn was featured in the documentary Forks Over Knives as well. He is a strong proponent of eating a plant-based (vegan) whole foods diet. His book Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease details the benefits a plant strong diet can have in terms of reducing many of the chronic diet-related diseases that plague Americans today.
These guys were doing plant-based before it was trendy. dresselstyn.com is his website, which features more scientific, medical advice from the good doctor, as well as a full page Bio detailing his credentials far better than the small excerpt from his page above! DR. NEAL BARNARD:
Dr. Neal Barnard is another great professional who uses his powers for good and not evil! The doctor is the author of many books, one of his most famous being Dr. Neal Barnard’s Program for Reversing Diabetes. He is also the founder of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (pcrm.org). The website is an amazing resource for credible plant based nutrition information to back up all your pro-vegan debates! The committee also works to reform nutritional policies in America. “We advocate for preventive medicine, especially good nutrition, conduct clinical research, and advocate for higher ethical standards in research. Our membership includes 150,000 health care professionals and concerned citizens.” (About PCRM).

DR. MICHAEL GREGER: PHYSICIAN, AUTHOR
Dr. Michael Gregor also puts out amazing free videos on his YouTube site NutritionFacts.org. I also just discovered that NutritionFacts.org is a non-profit and he donates all his proceeds to charity, how amazing is that?? I highly recommend subscribing to his YouTube channel and and visiting his website, linked in the picture above as well as NutritionFacts.org, linked below!
